After growing up on a farm in east central Missouri and proudly serving our country in the United States Air Force, Dr. Nie graduated with his DVM (1988) from the University of Missouri and a MS (1993) and PhD (1994) from the University of Minnesota.

Hello, I'm Dr. Flathers!

Mallory was born and raised in Oklahoma, joined Angel in 2019 and has 4 pets she wishes could be claimed as dependents on her taxes!

McCayla is from Republic MO, joined Angel in 2013 and has 3 kitties - Nickel, Cali, and Sheldon Lee.

Olivia graduated from Willard in 2023, joined Angel in 2023, and has a cat (Nickel), chameleon (Rango), and 2 chinchillas (Nova and Chevelle).

Makayla was born and raised in St. Louis, volunteering at a rescue where her interest in Veterinary Medicine peaked. She has many years of experience with animals and is currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program.

Linda has been with Angel Animal Hospital for 40+ years and she says, "it has been an amazing journey." She loves to spend time with her family and her dog Katie. She also enjoys cooking, and making quilts.

Debbie is from Springfield, went to Republic High School, and has brought many years of experience in the veterinary profession with her when she joined our staff in April 2012. She has several 4 legged family members and likes spending her free time working in her yard and gardening.

Kaleigh joined Angel Animal Hospital in April 2024. In her free time, she likes to watch crime documentaries while snuggling with her senior rescue, Clyde! Being a dog mom has taught her many things and has brought so much joy and excitement!

Margaux is a licensed physical therapist with a passion for creating and designing. She has nine cats that she absolutely adores and spoils. Her next goal? To adopt a rescue dog!!

Grace is a book lover who enjoys reading and staying active through workouts in her free time. She is also a proud furmom to her two beloved pets, Loki and Kobi.

Carmen lives in Billings, Missouri. She is currently at OTC, where she is getting her associates in Biology, and plans to go to MSU to complete the Animal Science pre-veterinary program. She loves nature and all things science, and she has two dogs named Pebbles and Luna.
