Client Services Representative

For more than 60 years, Angel Animal Hospital has proudly served the Springfield community with compassionate, high-quality veterinary care. We are looking for a friendly, dependable Client Services Representative to be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets.

Our newly remodeled facility features two specialized departments: one focused on traditional veterinary medicine and the other on holistic and integrative care, including acupuncture, chiropractic therapy, and advanced natural treatments.

As a Client Services Representative, you set the tone for every visit. Your kindness, efficiency, and attention to detail help pet owners feel welcomed, informed, and cared for from the moment they call or walk through our doors.

Your Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients warmly and check them in and out efficiently
• Answer phone calls, emails, and online messages promptly and professionally
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments to keep the day running smoothly
• Create and update client and patient records in our practice management software
• Collect payments, process invoices, and explain charges clearly and courteously
• Request and organize medical records from other hospitals and send records as requested
• Process prescription and product refill requests and coordinate with the medical team
• Make reminder, follow-up, and callback contacts to keep pets on track with recommended care
• Help clients understand our services, including our holistic and integrative offerings, and route questions to the right team member
• Keep the reception area, lobby, and retail space clean, organized, and stocked
• Handle client concerns with patience and professionalism, involving leadership when needed
• Work closely with doctors, technicians, and patient care staff to ensure a seamless client experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service, reception, or front office experience preferred
• Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus, but not required
• Friendly, professional, and calm demeanor, even during busy times
• Strong communication and listening skills, in person and on the phone
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Comfortable with computers and willing to learn practice management software
• Compassion for pets and the people who love them
• Reliable team player willing to assist wherever needed

Compensation & Benefits

• $15–$20+ per hour, based on experience
